Senior Technical Writer

The Sales Enablement Marketing Manager will have sales enablement strategy, planning, and coordination responsibilities. Specifically, the Manager's role will be responsible for developing sales tools and contributing to sales-focused demand generation materials to ensure that NewTek’s worldwide field sales team can effectively position and differentiate NewTek’s products, services and value to customers and prospects. This position will work closely with Sales to articulate the customer purchase cycle and identify the knowledge/information gaps across stages, and with Demand Generation to identify requirements and recommend unique enablement tactics by campaign, segment and region; and will leverage core content material developed by Product Marketing to create, deliver and maintain required sales tools and sales training. You will develop a deep understanding of the live streaming and real-time video production market, including market trends, competitive landscape and key business drivers.
Specific Responsibilities
- Work with sales to identify information and knowledge gaps and areas of focus for sales and channel tools and training, including product features/benefits, opportunity identification/qualification, competitive positioning, and market trends.
- Gather sales tools and information requirements across all stages of the sales cycle
- Work with worldwide demand generation, identify unique sales tool requirements by segment (industry, size, etc.) and region
- Recommend optimal delivery mechanisms for various sales tools and training, including webcasts, presentations, one-pagers, videos, etc. – per customer needs
- Develop, deliver, and maintain effective sales tools, including product and competitive positioning, lead qualification, lead development and objection handling dialogs based on prioritized needs from Sales
- Contribute to cross-functional product launch process by developing required sales tools and trainings
- Coordinate with Channel team to modify and offer enablement/tools to NewTek’s partners
Experience
- 5+ years experience in enterprise Product Marketing role, including the field and channel launch of a successful product
- Excellent writing, presentation, communication/training skills, including the ability to take complex ideas and concepts and effectively communicate them
- Team player – this position is highly cross functional and requires the ability to foster collaborative and positive relationships between sales, development, demand gen, product marketing and corporate marketing
- Ability to understand and utilize the right mix of development and deployment tools and vehicles (e.g. one-pagers, videos, webinars, portals, presentations) to achieve marketing and sales objectives
- Demonstrate confidence, accountability, ownership, collaboration, tact, and trust
- Ability to work at both strategic and tactical levels to understand requirements and common objectives, and synthesize into consistent message delivery
- Coordination and the ability to act independently (self-motivated) while supporting organizational goals
- Solid time management and scheduling skills, well organized and detail oriented to meet deadlines, and flexibility in working on multiple projects simultaneously
