Hi all,

I have find a solution that works for not to have to re-load the loading again and again every time you launch LW for Mac OS X.

Please proceed like this:

1- launch the modeler
2- load the plug-ins if they are not loaded
3- open any object
4- using the upper right pop up menu, send this object to layout
5- quit layout
6- quit modeler
7- quit hub

That all!
If you launch the layout again, you will be surprised to have all your preferences and plug-ins loaded.

Enjoy it.

By golly I think that worked!!!

I have been unable to get my Layout plugins to stick after trying all the previously posted solutions (that I could find). But this seemed to work. Now we will see if it stands the test of time!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I have tested this solution on a couple of G4 with OS X with LW 7.5 and it works.

I am very happy to share this solution with the other LW users who have this problem :)

hmmm...not sure how this differs from what I'd been doing...(adding and re-adding, opening files, etc)

what gil told me to do was to trash prefs, run initconfig and resume work.

these days, it's rare that I get those 'can't find plugins' warnings...

You Sir are a gentleman (for revealing this excellent news), and a scholar (for figuring it out)! I was gettin mighty frustrated trying to get G2 to "stick". Now if you don't mind me askin...do you have any special method for getting Screamernet to work?

Greg
