Can't see normals in Modeler

Hi huys
I'm running LW7.5 on a dual 867 G4 (Nvidia 32Mb G4MX and 750Mb RAM) under OSX10.2.1 and everything is fine except for the fact that I can't see the normals in the Modeller OpenGL previews. I can see the blue cages and guides as usual but for some reason the normals are not showing up (clicking on the 'normals' checkbox has no effect). Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a fix?

is this occuring in SubPatch mode? this would make sense as a poly is no longer a single poly.

It sounds like the Jaguar related problem, which has been discussed in other threads. I may be wrong but I haven't noticed it as much in 10.2.3. Updating the OS may help. It seems to be worse with some graphics cards than others.

Thanks for the replies. I think the problem may be down to me being a bit thick :) I can actually see the normals if the polygons are selected. I was expecting to be able to see them when they're not selected but I think I was confusing another app with Lightwave. You can only see normals of selected polygons?
