Is there an AA bug in LW if you render hires (1920x1080)?!

I think Im going nuts! ok, I went nuts years ago :), but what is going on here?

error!

I have EVERY raytrace function turned on and all AA settings topped out at extreme, no adap..and I still can NOT get a nice edge! No matter what I turn off or on, it always looks the same!

Thanks so much!
They should have that turned off automatically and if HDR users want it, turn it on!

Not really... if you look in the manual, you'll see why it's turned off:
"This option should not be used with filters or image savers that expect high dynamic range data"

uh, right...so most users dont use HDR, so it should be off to begin with...the HDR...so that button should be ON to begin with...

then those users that need HDR can turn it off for their goody goody special color palletes...
:) just joking!

There are another posts and a lot of topics that says the same about AA because LW have been need other algortithms to deal with the problem for quite a long time (and you can see the it everywhere from Startrek to Roughnecks Chronicles). Hope the next release will fix the quality and speed problem in this respect.

Best
Christian
