Don't dream too much and don't expect anything...Just an advice.

Why ????? :-(
I hope that LW development go on and with new versions it could be competitive with other packages. I have no idea who is developemnt next versuion of LW, but i think that someone is making it.
Personally i think that new revision with only minor and cosmetic changes could begin to kill LW as competitive 3D aplication ... so i hope to have good news soon.

modeller and layout need to be one and the same interface...implement it like maya with modes for modelling, animation, dynamics and rendering.
that would bring it inline with maya, xsi, softimage, max and cinema4d.
needs to be done...at some point v soon.

What?!?!? Is the development down?!?!? If Newtek isnt developing LW (which I thought they were) then who is?

I have no idea or notice about nothing related to LW development, only rumors that everybody can read in this and other forums. I supouse that like Chuck say many times, NT is development next version of LW and it is up.
The only real facts are that today LW is great application and we are using it over his competitors, LW need to speed his development to grow in features and users as fast as his competitors, and future is today unknow ... so only thing that we can make is wait or change to other software ... anyone can decide.
