I am new to LW, and trying to cover as much ground as fast as possible.

I have a simple scene of 3 glass objects and 1 floor. 3 lights (key, fill, back). Only the key light affects caustics; no lights move or are animated.

the sole animated object is a sphere, which does a sort of figure-8 above the floor surface.

the problem is that the caustics for all the glass items (moving or not) flicker! how can I kill this flickering?

caching the caustics kills the flickering, but the caustic on the sole moving object doesn't move with that object..

any pointers would be a serious help..thank you!

Johnny

Apart from baking (why doesn't baking support sequences in 7.5? - it's baffling to me that this option is rendered mostly useless in those situations where it might otherwise be most useful), I think the only way to get what you are after might be to bump up the antialiasing level.
