Ok.
I bought 6.5 that came with a 7.0b update for Lightwave.
I have the original Disc with Aura 2.0.
Now then I had 98SE then and it really didnt matter what order I installed everything.
I could just slop it on and everything worked without a hitch.
But now I have to install the new drivers for Sentinal.
What order should I do all this?
1.I'm thinking I should start with Lightwave and install 7.0b and skip the sentinal drivers then install the update 7.5 and again skip the sentinals.
2.Then install the Aura 2.5 from the downloads section here at newtek and install.
3.Then install the drivers for sentinal.
Is this right?

Please help cause all I want to do is get back to modeling, rendering, and painting with Lightwave and Aura.
I will do anything, wash your floors or brush you cat or shovel horse manure or anything.
All I want is to have Lightwave and Aura run without being in demo mode.
Please! For the love of CG and all that it encompasses please someone help!

Thank you.

Somewhere in the manual I read that the Sentinel drivers had to be installed first or Lightwave wouldn't install properly. Generally, all software I've used that used Sentinel the application would first install the Sentinel drivers first and continue with the application.

also, something I learnt during install (7.5) sentinal drivers first, but also install BOTH serial and USB drivers.

whenever I installed just the USB one LW didn't detect the dongle, installed both and it did, very odd!
