Hi there, I need to animate some arrows on a path giving a crokscrew effect. Is it possible to have an object animate along a path and curve to the curve of the path?

Basically I need to create some arrows that move in a swirling fashion down a tube showing airflow.

Thanks!

You could create a helix shaped spline in modeler and export that as a path. Another way is to break the motion up into two parts:
The rotational component and the linear movement component. Parent your arrow to a null but offset it away from the null. Spinning the null will rotate the arrow. Moving the null will then make the arrow appear to be moving in a corkscrew fashion. You may have to use two nulls though...one for the rotation and one for the linear movement.
