Does anyone know where I can get (or buy for very cheep) a photo-real and textured model of a slice of (or whole)peporoni pizza?
I'm digitally hungry.
Thanks very much!

Hehe well there is another good solution but you have to buy a plastic film´, put it on to your scanner and do the same, and there's no need to lick the scanner :)

Best

you may want to let the pizza cool or else the texture might smear. mmmmm cold pizza yum yum.

What about the layers and all that.
Should I take a prime-looking slice, get my friend's digital camera and photograph from the side, top, bottom and back? Then map those onto an appropriately shaped model?
Maybe even photo a slice of peporoni to map onto a disk, eh?
Any other suggestions?

you could take layers off of the pizza one at a time and take pictures. Then add them as seperate textute layers to the object just an idea i am rather new to the whole 3d thing and lightwave so i just spew random ideas off the top of my head, never really knowing if it would work at all. although this thread should probably be in the tips and tricks forum.
