ok...got caught up yesterday and wanting to take advantage of several computers
to help save render times...
i want to be able put these 2monsters to work at night while i drink beer and watch tv =)
so following Johnathan Bakers very precise
setup instructions i actually got everthing "talking" correctly...kinda?(amazin')
with JBs controller(limited to1 node i plan to upgrade) the dp800 shows up and goes right to work. good.
but...theres always one of those,
using screamer net2(LW)... i start LWSN on both computers DP 800(node 2) and DP1000
(node1) open LW/nrender/network render/and theyshow up as ready i add my scene file click screamer render, i immediately get a crash of
LWSNnode 1(D1000) but node 2 keeps crunchin away untill stopped?
can the main computer/controller(DP1000 )be used as a node or is this a no-no?
or should i just send J.baker the money for something that works?
any help or suggestions appreciated...damn.
