Hello
These our just some simple little things that I have been wondering about LW 7.5.
1.Can we change the color of the Tabs ?
like the box tab in modeler is a tan could we change it to blue, green ?
2.I seem to remember that ya can save views in Modeler.
ya know save a perspective view in solid with no cages and name it no cage or something.
but dang if I can figure it out or find how to in the Manuel.
I would think it would be in display popup some where.
Messiah questions
1.Layout has a lot for animations but I see people use Messiah.
anyone care to tell Ravenn the pro's con's of Messiah ?
2. I got the Messiah Demo see parts about Rendering and that it's a stand alone App.
Does Messiah have it's on Render Engine ? and if it does is it LW's engine
Thanks
Ravenn

Hey Ravenn, I didn't know you were a LW'r?!
Anyways, you can not save views in modeler/layout. You can only save backdrop information.
Press "d" to get to the display properties, then go to the backdrop tab. Load your backdrops and size them for each viewport. Then select the "Preset" dropdown and selct "Save All Backdrops". It will write a config file for your backdrop info. When ever you re-open modeler, you will have to go back to the display options, and load the backdrop configuration, as it is not saved in the lwo file.
Messiah, can't help you there.

You CAN actually save views. Ctrl + 1 to 9 on the number pad will bring up a little box where u choose to save the whole modeler view setup or just 1 pane. then u just hit 1 to 9 (without ctrl) to change into the saved views. 0 on the number pad makes what ever view window is under the mouse fill the modeler screen and hitting it again returns it back to its original setup.

Oh and i just checked cos i thought it only saved the views settings like shading type (textured, flat shaded, flat shaded wire etc..) but it does indeed save if cages and guides are on or not, so u can for example save the perpective view with guides/cages on and off (number pad 1 and 2 maybe?) and change between them with the click of a button.
