I've created a box. I've named the front of the box as "front" amd back as - you guessed it - "back". I've set the front to have a bmp file surface. I've also set the back to have a bmp file. The fornt looks OK in Layout but back has the bmp as a mirror image.
I checked the normals in Modeler. They all point away from the boxes center , ie. they are OK as far as I know.
How do I get the back look OK too? I tried fliping the normal but it did not help. The surface editor in Layout has many options but none help.
This must be something simple

Hey posti, you mean like having a text appearing mirrored on the back- surface?
LW usually projects textures along an axis, no matter what direction the faces look at.
You need to apply another surface to the back (it appears you did that). Now to have the text flipped to appear correctly, just give it a negative scale in the x- axis (usually).
Hope that helps.

Negative x scale helped.
Strange.

Thank you.
