Does one even exist? I remember a press release and a link on CG Channel but nothing on the front page. How does Newtek expect to get any more users if they don't keep up with other companies who ARE giving a free download anyone.

yes there's an edu reduced priced version..in the u.k it's around £275..plus of course there's the discovery version as well, which is free.

The discovery version? Where do you get that? Obviously Newtek isn't very interested in getting anyone to use that version or it would be plastered on the front of the site like everyone else(Maya,SoftImage).
