What is the difference between DVI-i and DVI-d?
A: A dvi-d connector on your graphics card will only support a digital connection via a DVI cable, while a dvi-i connector on your graphics card can support both a digital connection to a monitor via a DVI cable or an analog connection to a monitor through the use of a DVI to 15-pin VGA adapter.
