Hey guys,
Found a really bad bug yesterday, during a gig.
If you have a still in DDR1, with it set to loop mode, and have the cue mode enabled, then switch to it.. it will playback for 5 seconds, and return to the preview channel (NOT LOOP)
:(

I can't replicate this problem here. Can someone else try, perhaps?

What kind of TriCaster do you have? Running 2.5? International version?

Yes, Latest Version, International.
On trying to capture this bug on video, it just got a whole lot worse. It only seems to happen under a certain circumstance, which i cant identify.
Here's the vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t2v9erwWNt8 (from my iphone sorry.. no cameras in at the moment)

This problem actually caused me to have a " DuuuuuH Moment." I never realized toy could multi select files in the DDR and that then becomes the "selection" that plays when you hit "loop selected". I haven't thought of a clever use for this yet, but I'm sure I shall.

I would use that functionality in the DDR many times to select items out of order. Instead of reorganizing the complete DDR list. If I had to do a last minute commercial break to make up time, I would simply control click which commercials I wanted to play and then the DDR would play only those selected.
the loop selection has come in handy at times if the talent or the players are not ready to come back live. (used that lots of times for poker events)

OK then. So what happens if you have Loop disengaged, and try the cue-enabled approach before switching to that still?

"Click inside the Loop plus the Selection" checkboxes?
So, Bob, is there some single-stroke shortcut you're employing to do both in one shot? If so, what's that shortcut, pray tell?

Noooo. I meant simply, in my mind, I always used the List mode to play the list (multiple clips), and the selected mode to play the selected clip.(as in ONE clip.) I accidentally had several clips highlighted when I clicked play selected, and it played all the multiple selected clips. I didn't realize you could do that, but it's a neat function, and useful as Jef so kindly pointed out.
