I did a search on numeric panal & invisible text & could not find anything dealing with my problem.
Can you tell me what I should be searching for or who to fix the problem?

Then you need to use different words in your search. Look at how you described the problem in your post. Did you use the word "invisible" in your post?

I remember once about something with different languages, Japanese for instance.

It has something to do with certain versions of windows and certain versions of video drivers, I used to have it on my old Athlon700/Geforce256/winXP combination. Supposedly it could be solved by turning of some language thingy in windows. That never worked for me, installing different Nvidia drivers did.
There is an earlier thread about this....

I know I'm not very precise but it's a while ago ... anyway hope it sets you on the right track...

I had to turn off my foreign language support. It seems to have fixed my problem, but now I cant see Japanese text. :(.
I am gland I can see the values now in the numeric panal though.
Thanks again.

Update to LW 7.5. It is free and it should fix the problem.
