File Requester Defaults?

Everytime I load up Aura I have to manually change the Flie Requester to the Windows option.
I want it to start up with the Windows Requester until I get into the project.
I have the Config button engaged when I exit but when Aura reloads it changes back to the Aura/LW requester.
Is there a way to change this?

I suspect you are using the default startup config. If memory serves, you can't save over that one, so need to create a new one (with a different name) before your preferences will be retained.

Well how do you do that?
I looked in the manual but am finding nothing relative to this.
Do I just create one with notepad?

Click on the [New] button in the startup Splash Screen (the one with the little anim that let's you modify the Project settings before the program proper opens. Give it a name, and after the program loads, change the Settings panel to use the windows requester, then Exit saving the changes.

Don't forget to uncheck the Save Changes box next time you Exit Aura, or it will save all your current tool settings as defaults - unless, of course, that's what you want. You can use this to retain most things, including file requester default paths, palletes, default colours and tools, etc.

BTW, there are some advantages to the Aura File requester, vs. the Windows one. The one thing the Windows one is really essential for is accessing networked drives.
