erase name texture into panel Surface

hi at all,
how is possible erase one name on list of name texture, into panel Surface Texture? (Modeler or Layout)

Are you referring to the Presets shelf or the Surface Editor?

If u mean the surface names, like if u had a surface applied to an object then u changed the surface it will leave the old surface name in the surface list. Closing the object and re-opening it should make them go. The reason they stay is incase u need to use them again, if it just vanished and u later needed to apply it back to something u wouldn't be happy :)
