I notice when some people post their question they attached an image of there screen. How do u do that, is it some kind of application or your video card that does that?
The reason I ask is because sometimes I have question and it's better to show a picture of my problem than describing it.

press printscreen and paste into photoshop
that is of course if you are on a PC, not sure how to do it on mac, though i do know (i think) that it changes depending on the OS.

On Mac OS X, you press cmd-shift-3 for the whole screen, cmd-shift-4 to select a portion of it, and cmd-shift-4-space to select individual windows and things.

(alt-print screen) copies only the active window to the clip board.

or, if you're really poor and don't have PhotoShop, just open the "RUN" box, and type in MSPAINT :D (actually I go with this because it's a lot faster to start up than PhotoShop...)
PS: I ain't no M$ pusher...

For Mac OS X users, I'd recommend using Snap Pro Z for screen shots. It can capture a selected portion of the screen, or do a time delay before it takes the shot, or even create a Quicktime movie of motion on your screen.

What do these tutorials use to capture screenshot animations? Surely they don't use the printscreen/past-into-paint-program for that?
