Hi,
I'm looking to talk to people interested in Linux, network rendering and a potential opensource project. Ideally you should be able to code but not essential... :)
Please send me a mail to ben.haines@roundcorners.com

I hope you are thinking about making a fake "bucket renderer" for LW :)
I know you could send your scene out to your rendernodes, have them each render a segment of your frame and then merge it back and display on your main machine.... I really wish s.o. would do this! I have a small renderfarm here and to use it to render preview frames 10x faster than on my single machine would be AWSOME.

Not far off... it was going to be the project after presetcentral v2. I'll explain all soon on the www.presetcentral.com blog.
But you're definitely on the right track... :)

Hehe, he wouldn't be the first to think along those lines ;)
Cheers,
Mike - so many ideas - so little time.
