why does it give me an *.flx file

This is the 1st time i've ever attempted a network render, and i'm a little bit baffled by it all.

I've just set up a network render using only my own CPU, and tried to output the files as
*.tga.

But for some reason the outputed files are coming out as *.flx not as *.tga.

Anybody know why? What have i done wrong?

Don't worry it's a common error! Happened to me!

Usually it's down to two things - Screamernet can't find the config files (LWEXT.cfg in particular) which in turn point to where the plugins are stored.

Or Screamernet ran out of memory trying to load the chosen file saver plugin.

Double check all your paths and access to folders where config files are stored etc.

I think in the end it was down to references to the spreadsheet in the scene file.
