Hi,

I have LW 8.01 installed in our computer lab here at FSU and a number of students are having problems saving their LW scene files. They don't show up as LW files and students can't load their scenes back into LW. The can use the "load recent scene file list" but if that list gets cleared out then the file LW is saving is not being recognized by LW. Is this a known bug of somekind? :(

Not hardly!!

If this is seriously happening I would ask the IT guys to come re-install from NewTek cds as opposed to the pirate disk I presume this kind of behaviour would come from.

You got a really bad install there.

it's the config files. Just back up your configs and save any custom menus and keys. Then delete the configs so LW can make new ones when it is restarted.

You might get better response in the correct forum. ;)
But I think Castius is correct in his analysis.
