Are you using alot of ambient light in your interior scenes?
To get smooth subtile shadows in the corners.

Bon soir mon ami Herve
Unfortunately my mind now is too busy, loaded, tired.
I saw the commercial you posted and your attempts.
Its hard for me to follow the thread and think about a solution.
Some fast ideas (some of them already said) :
- Clipmaps
- Compositing of two similar sequences , one with the geometry moving, the second with the geometry points as cubes and a controllable soft-wipe maybe
- if you start the particle size from very small growing up into normal-size cubes.
- Texture of the cubes can be a spherical reflection map of the initial geometry.
- some World-Coordinates texturing can help you.
Bon chance

My passion has always been architecture. Recently I have been attempting arch viz with LW. Your work is just great! Very nice renderings, so, anything you can pass on to others like myself would be appreciated. Modeling, texturing, lighting, anything!
