Hi everyone,

is there a plugin for automated lip-sync based on a recorded voice, like for example VoiceWorks in Maya or Ventriloquist in 3dsmax?

I know about TalkMaster, but it seems that it is not sold or developed any more.

I'd be glad if anyone knew something about it.

Cheers
janus

From what I understand, MOTIONBUILDER from Kaydara (http://www.kaydara.com) can do automatic lipsynch. I've never used it, so I can't give you many details.

I do know that you need to set up your phonetic endomorphs (like I'd guess you would for any lip-synch program) and assign those endomorphs to sounds in MB (should be pretty easy, the rest of MB seems to be!). MB should take over from there and do the synch for you. I even understand it can do it live, as you speak into a mic!
