matte shadow!?

Dear All, I'm new in this comunity.
I have a problem, I started learning LW some time ago, but Like an Industrial designer I use it for rendering and basic animation.
My problem: now I have to realize a an animation in compositing, a car (virtual), on the road (real).
How can I create the shadows on a trasparent gronud(alpha?).
I was a 3dmax user, and I remember a nice material called "matte Shadow".
Please help me and sorry for my english Italianizated!

i'm not positive on this but go to the advanced tab for your transparent surface and for shadows, make it use shadow density or opacity...these are just guesses tho. good luck!

Thank you very much, probably now you are thinking: well it was easy!!!
I switch the alpha menù on shadow density and I've saved the image intga.
Thats Ok, it can be used for compositing, but the LW viewer show me the ground also in this way!
