I just purchased aura 2.5b from Newtek last week, couldn't pass up the lw owner promo! It arrived today and I have installed it and begun a little toying with it. My question is in regard to the LW plugin. I had lightwave running with a object that has uv maps loaded, but was unable to locat the actual plugin. The documentation says that the plugin should be under filters/preview, but it is not there. Do I need to manually load this plugin? Any advise will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
James

ok after talking to tech support it turns out that this plug in is only loaded if you do a custom install. now getting the plugin to work is also a bit hairy... wish me luck!

If anyone has found a tutorial to use the LW Viewer and paint on the LW UVmap in Aura please post a link.
If not a simple step by step account would be very helpful.

very good walkthrough in the tutorials link. I dont use the uv imaginator plugin, but it is not necessary. Of course you must have a texture map assigned to a surface to edit in aura.

Wow, that troll is just awesome...
I've been going through the tutorial but with LW6.5b (that's all I have:). I can't get the Aura 2.5b LW plugin to even give me a list of objects to load via the hub.
Does this plugin work for LW6.5b?

Julian
