I'm creating a large freeway project and I'm utilizing UV textures to represent the asphalt and striping texture. When I assign the UV map to the roadway surface in Layout, the texture is blacked out. But when I render it, the texture looks fine. This doesn't happen all the time, but more often than not. My thought was this may be a memory issue, but my computer has 4 GIGs of RAM and the video card is a NVIDIA Quadro FX 3400 with 256 MB. The textures are TGA formats, and are approx. 3.5 megs.
Does anyone have any ideas why this happens?
