When rendering a project in TED, I'd like to be able to overwrite a file when saving. Sometimes I want to use a single file and just keep changing the content when needed rather than have the file names auto increment and clutter up the drive. A dialog "overwrite existing file? Y/N" would be nice.

Or maybe a settings in preferences to allow the user to decide if he wants to be foolish or not. I think the Flyer had something like that on it....."Super Genius" or such?????

I would like to agree with the original post. I am sure that there is a reason for the way the original software was written, but I would like to have the option to roll the dice and save over the top of the original file. A simple option in preferences would work for me. Having a Toaster is all about freedom right? Kind of like riding a motorcycle without a helmet. You know that you might eventually pay the price.
