Can the TriCaster be controlled by another device via RS 232?

Following up from my previous post . . . . I have been told that the Tricaster should do RS-232/422/485 because for the church market Crestron compatibility is not just a plus but a requirement.
Any talented programmers out there want to take a stab at this and create a way for the TriCaster to be controlled from an exteranl device?

For $25 inject rs232 data into the keyboard buffer to fireVT hotkeys.
disclaimer: I haven't tried this product, it's just the first Google hit on "RS-232 keyboard wedge"
