simple powerpoint import

Could it be possible to add powerpoint importation with scaling? I currently rip PPT files into JPGs, and load these into TEd or a DDR, but the scaling is off, usually cutting off parts of the slide. In many cases, I can't rescale the powerpoint file because it's given to me last minute by the client.

If you go to the preferences, in the general editing section you will find just after the default still length there is a setting that is called "Stills by default are: choose scaled. That way when ever you bring in an oversized still it will be automatically scaled.
