Is the LW Macro Recorder in 8.3 known not to work?
My experience is that it creates an Lscript, but there is nothing in it.
Thanks.

Hi Katherine,
I just checked on my LW 8.3, and I'm getting the same thing you are. LW Macro Recorder does create an .ls file, but it's empty. :compbeati
I've just been using LScript Commander to do this kind of thing. Just add it in the Master Plugins, and pull commands out of the "Events" tab into the black area in the sequence you want things to happen. Then go up to the Session Menu, convert it to LScript and save it out. When you execute that .ls file, things should work fine. :goodluck:

Hmmm. I just double checked myself, and I found out that there seem to be TWO instances of LW Macro Recorder in my Master Plugins list. [LW8.3] One did absolutely nothing...but the second one worked! What do you know?
I think I'll just stick with LScript Commander to do that kind of recording stuff. I noticed the Macro Recorder captured commands in the .ls it created, but it returned an Item Number instead of an Item Name like LScript Commander can. I don't like that. I'm funny that way. :D

I wouldn't trust the Macro recorder, it thinks addPosition should be a string value and not a 3 numeric value :P Seems to be well bust. Use Lscript commander instead :)
