Persistent failure to update new geometry

I'm still on 8.3 here (Tiger 10.4.3) and having a problem such that when I add elements to my Object, Lightwave "refuses" to show the new items, even after I click "Synchronize" in Modeler, and even after I quit Layout, Modeler and Hub and restart the apps again.

I don't remember this problem being *so* persistent in the past...anyone have thoughts on this?

Sometimes fPrime will show a change in my Object file, but Layout won't, or vice versa.

Is this another case of needing to kill the Hub?

Yea, this kind of thing never happens unless the hub is running. If you clear the object from both Layout and Modeler, then bring it back in, it should work either way.

The thing I really don't like about models updating through the hub is that you lose all your undo's in modeler. Simply hot-keying the 'replace with object file' command and updating your models that way is a better workflow imho. It also allows you to experiment with the surfaces in Layout, and just reload the model if you want to start over.
