Example Scenario:
I am not getting a good fade of the client's 32-bit TGA logo keyed over video to coincide with the underlying video's fade to black.
I decide to render the last second of the thing (overlayed logo and underlying clip) so that I can then get a better fade of the composited render.
Since I know I'm going to be using this newly rendered clip, I wish I didn't have to go back digging around for it in the file bin that I rendered it to. I wish I had the option, at the end of the render, to replace the newly rendered clip right where it belongs, at the position of the timeline from which it was born.
Speed and efficiency is good. Just can't get enough. Do you know what I mean?
