Problems with Tutorial cd

Hello members,

I have recently started to work with LW7. Because this software is completely new to me I bought the book Inside Lightwave 7. A cd-rom came with the book that contains various tutorials. I started a week ago and i am learning about the surface editor. When I tried to load a scene from the cd-rom that came with the book I received errors. I contacted the publisher of the book and they provided me with a new cd. When I tried to load the same scene I received the same errors.....:mad:

is anybody familiar with this problem??

Some of the objects/image filenames seem to have forgot if there from the UK or US, it tends to ask for colors.lwo when the filename is colours.lwo etc.., when u get the error select browse to find object/image and look in the dir that lightwave had tried to find the file and see if theres one with UK or US spelling in the filename.

the cd is a little bit messy: files are not on the places they should be..

Its easy to miss with the words only been out by 1 letter, its strange how they let it happen cos it does happen with quite a few of the scenes.
