I did this last year in school for a project. It was very difficult to get good textures, im still not %100 happy with it. I am already using the tb what ever skin shader. 16hrs 20mins 8 secs to render.

it looks pretty good, but i think the face needs a littl emore emotion, and perhaps bigger chest muscle will make it look even better

lol yeah, the title mannequen would be more appropriate.
Add some expression to the face and make a more meaningful setup. is that steam? is he naked in a shower? is he embarrassed and trying to cover up his genitals? etc. The skin also looks like clay, definitelly needs more diffuse lighting, specular maps and more realistic skin tone. The stiff fingers also dont do much for expressiveness. IF you dont bend the actual fingers you lose out alot on the very expressive qualities of hands. Speaking of skin, its not a uniform color. it tends to be whiter around joints and pink around certain body parts. It also has body hair which adds to color, blemishes and pores. very very subtle pores! Also, skin is naturally transluscent, so this eliminates hard shadows! make sure you light him with enough lights for this reason. i like to use adaptive radiosity for this effect. although SSS is pretty crucial as well.
id definitelly consider this a WIP rather then a finished piece.
a bit of hair wouldnt hurt either. the bald head is so last decade... play around with sasquach light or make some poly shapes, eyebrows are pretty key as well :)
usually when you dont get feedback, its not a good thing. If you want feedback to help you improve the model, then putting this into the finished section gives people the impression that you are done and any suggestions might be a waste of time :)
