Interesting problem. I just received the Tricaster Pro. Ran perfectly. I exited to Admin (desktop) and chose check for updates. Went to Newtek web site, scrolled down to TriCaster Pro files. Downloaded the Bonus Content.

Installed the content and rebooted. The computer boots, presents the full screen TriCaster Pro framestore. then, a few seconds later, a Tricaster banner appears over the framestore, then appears to freeze.

The cursor pops to the top left-hand corner of the screen and has very limited range. You can only move the cursor about 1/4 way to the right, and about 1/4 way down from top left hand corner. Click, nothing happens.

Right-click and a floating menu appears (LOAD, SAVE, CLOSE). Selecting any of the options does nothing. Unable to do a CTRL-ALT-DEL to bring up task manager. Had to push power button for 5-seconds to shut down. Multiple reboots produces same effect.

Rebooted and held F8 key down and started in safe mode. Removed the Newtek Bonus Content using Add/Remove Programs. Rebooted successfully. Computer is now back to normal.

Think you need to to look into what and why this is happening.

If you uninstall the bonus content it will restore the use. We are working on a fix and will have it posted.

Broke my pro!!! Oh no! It broke my pro. That I know.
I will not have it so. I will not have it bad. I will not have it sad. I will fix it and make it glad. So out goes the content as quick as lick, in hopes that my TriCaster will tick with a click. I rebooted the computer, and wouldn't you know, TriCaster's running, and no frozen win-dow. So thanks to you all, it's now running again. I bid you goodbye and amen and amen.

The Tricaster web stream looks great. I had one of my customers broadcast right from the State fairgrounds in Anchorage, AK. It came across clean and clear. Tricaster supports one web stream, which means one connection can view it. In other words, the receiving end could have it projected up on a screen for an audience of thousands to view.

In the case of the customer who broadcast from Alaska, he sent the one stream to a streaming company (ISP) in California, who in turn gave him the needed bandwidth to broadcast to hundreds or more at the same time.

F.Y.I The VT[Live] system supports up to 10 concurrent streams.
