I have recently started to learn napalm (Intel). I have been doing the tuts in the manual and have run into a problem with particles contacting a napalm contact object. In all cases, using very simple LW objects, the particles fly right thru. I have adjusted as many parameters as nessicary and have made sure that the particles have correct mass. Still they just fly right thru the objects.

I have also been trying to do the "Shower Tut" in napalm and cannot get the particles to bounce of the tub.

The real issue for me however is the combination of Napalm particles and Impact3 objects. I need to have a particle stream contact a restrained Impact sphere and force the sphere to move.
again the particles pass right thru.

There is also a tutorial in Impact that shows this "Fly_Wheel"
I am trying to use the napalm particles as a "Third party Force"
once again Impact allows the rarticles to pass right thru the object.

I love both of these plugins but I have been stuck for several days now so I am starting to doubt my own skill.

hmmm, the only thing I can suggest is that you ccheck the geo for the contact objects, if it is completely solid, no holes, it should work fine. ...if there is a hole in the geo someplace, that can lead to problem.s

Dynamic Realities just posted a new version (3.42) of Napalm.
It fixes many issues, as well as the Colision Detection problem.
In addition, there is a new improved interface.

Go to the web site to download the latest version
