Nice to see the new forum. Looks great! I thought I should contribute something to the WIP area. This is a character that I was working on a while back and never had time to finish. Hopefully soon I can finish him up.

Not really, he is ment to look a little like a perv. His full name is Wilfred the Horny Gnome.

Actually that is my favorite character. He started out as a self-portrait for my “about" section of my webpage, but he turned out to have only a small resemblance to me in the end. Unfortunately he is not 3d, just an illustration so I won’t be attempting to animate him any time soon.

Very interesting charcter design, you should finish this guy's body and animate and animate him strutting with maybe a little cape and grinning like in that first pic would be amusing =)

The eye's in the render look a bit too glossy.(polished glass-eye look) To much high/hard spec.

Thanks oxyg3n and neurostim! I actually am trying to make his eyes very glassy. Sort of that stoner, perv couldn't care about anything other then scoring with the chicks. I know it doesn’t make much sense now, but it should be more clear when my first dialogue test is finished.

OH it makes perfect sense to me. It looks like you have that personality of him down. He reminds me of some sorta disgusting character from a b movie, like the leprechaun. Have you eber seen that?

Thanks Bobakabob, Pensart, Xtrm3d, and everyone else (hope I didn’t forget anyone) . You guys have definitely motivated me to take some time this weekend and try and finish him off. Sorry about the delay in my response, my Internet connection seems to get sort of buggy recently.

Oxyg3n: I haven’t seen leprechaun yet, maybe I will rent it tonight while I work on him. :)
