I need to find out how to take my widescreen footage and with Aura stretch it and create the black bars on the top and bottom of the screen. I talked to my VT and LW dealer and he said to post this here, I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this question. It is a general question and not a problem.
Anyone, please help me.
Thank you.

1. Open Aura and make a black background.
2. Create a new layer that is the length of your footage.
3. Go to File- Import- Animbrush and select your footage.
4. Open up the Filter- Motion- Keyframer.
5. In the Keyframer you can edit the size of your animated brush. Make sure that the Aspect Ratio is locked, then change the width of your brush to 720 pixels. The height should be updated automatically.
6. Click on the Preview button on the bottom of the keyframer so you can see the footage on your screen and position it where you would like (center).
7. Double-Click the blank layer you will be applying the animated brush to. This should highlight all of the frames in the layer by making a yellow bar appear underneath them.
8. Click on the keyframer to apply the effect and you are done.

I'm kind of new to Aura right now. Where exactly in Aura can I change the size of my AnimBrush? I saw the W and the H by itself, when I typed in 720 the H was also set to 720 and then the image was way to big for my background. I tried a widescreen image that I captured from a widescreen shot. Could you give me a little bit more detailed discription on this, thank you.

Alright, I forgot that in the Keyframer it does aspect in percentage.
So load the animbrush, then look at the Tools Window. If it's not there click windows at the top of the screen, the Tools.
The tool window should say tools-Custom Brush. In that window click on the edit button and it will open a new window that says edit brush.
There you can change the size. Make sure you check the box that says Lock Ratio.
And don't forget to make the layer you want to apply the brush to an animation layer. YOu do that by right clicking the layer and hitting Make Anim.
I think that should do it.
