Hopefully not before it is bug-free and ready.

Frick Mike, you're all over with this "Debbie Downer" talk. I hope you're more positive about life in general.
Again, I apologize if I'm missreading your intent, but I keep running into it???

Mike,

If FCP is so great, why aren't you using it instead of complaining about how SE doesn't measure up to it?
There must be something wrong with FCP that brings you to even consider SE!

Nothing personal Ted. I'm just of the sarcastic kind :D

The application is great. The problem is the dongle which is over priced, “unupgradeable” and just awkward :D

So back to edmellnik's question. When do we get it? It has already dad it's release according to NewTek. A few months back they said it was ready but they wanted to add a few features, then the showed it's release, then they said soon, and that was weeks ago. So the question is when. If it really is close NewTek would have a better idea than soon. Yes I am ranting, I paid in advance for not just SE but for theVT upgrade in full faith that NewTek would not be more than a few months off their estimate of end of summer, but Dec. Jan. of Feb. is a bit hard to deal with for a company getting paid that far in advance and then to ignore their faithful customers request to keep them informed on what is happening. I only have two weeks to wait because I have given my customers too many excuses without NewTek giving me anything to tell them other than soon. You said go ahead and buy FCP. Unfortunately I care about NewTek as all of you do but I will have to buy FCP in 2 weeks if I can't show them something by then. So my question to NewTek is are you going to have something by then? If not, tell me now so I can quit being laughed at by my customer. If I do have to buy FCP I will need my money back from NewTek. I have been faithful to NewTek since 1988. But faith alone does not pay the rent.

I attended the launch in Chicago, when someone asked when SE would ship, Paul responded "eminently".
When asked for a more specific date, he suggested that it would be within the year 2006.

Why would you base a quote on un-released software ?

As Paul said in Chicago "when someone asked when SE would ship, Paul responded "eminently"."

Well we are even closer now...

Have you ever ordered a new product from Newtek that never shipped?
Hang in there just little longer you will be glad you did...

Since I was the one who brought it up, I will do the honors.
Dear Wiz, the Mac IS the dongle. A $2,000 dongle ;)
