I am trying to take a psd logo and get it into 3D Arsenal...I have opened the psd in illustrater and flatten the trans...then I have saved it into a ill 8 file...

when I import it into modeler all i get is a grey picture that has nothing else. The logo is not there just a grey shaded box in the 3D views.

Am I missing a step?? should I be clicking on something I am not?? Please help??

Lightwave only supports vector images not raster. Photshop does have a paths to illustrator feature but I have not tested it.
As for objects created in illustrator, you may need to check the box for drill holes in the eps import box in lightwave.
To recap, Images like those from a scanner can not be imported as eps files in lightwave, however using the new livetrace feature in illustrator will import into lightwave.
So the latter option may be the ticket for you.
