Will we ever be able to preview 24P?

?? Oh you mean via FireWire? Or are you talking on the Computer screen?

You can preview it on HDV, but not on DV. The DV is a recordable stream, so it had to match the camera/deck.

You can preview 24p images to DV, but the DV output will blank on playback.

The current SpeedEDIT is stand alone so it does not use the VT card.

I'm not sure what will happen between now and when VT5 is released, but I don't expect SpeedEDIT to output 24p to a recordable 29.97 output.
