Does anyone know if there is a relatively easy/painless method of converting old LScript (v1.0) to the current version? I have a large number of these old LScripts that were written in v1.0 for LW5.5 modeler and I'd like to update them to work with LW9 modeler.

They are .ls (not .lsc) so I can read them easily in notepad, but since I'm not a programmer I don't really know where to begin. They were written at our old company which went out of business quite a few years ago, but they are still quite useful. We still use LW5.5 modeler in some areas simply because of these LScripts.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Wow.... Those are old scripts....

How many are there? If I had the time I'd look them over....

If you want to do it yourself. I have a web pages with up to date notes on lscript as well as numerous examples.

You would need to do them manualy, you could always post them if thats OK and you might get volunteers to do them for you :), I`ll have a bash at some.

I wish I could do them manually, but unfortunately I'm NOT a programmer and I doubt I could do the job properly. But thanks for the links Dodgy. And also unfortunately, these LScripts are very sensitive in nature and I can't really have someone else work on them. Not to mention that there are probably about two dozen or more. I can still use LW5.5 modeler, so it's not a huge problem - I just wanted to really update them so I wouldn't HAVE to use 5.5.

Thanks for the offer though! ;)

It's too bad that there isn't an LScript Commander for Modeler.
