In 24 hours this offer is gone forever, it will never be offered again and will not be for Final Cut customers. It was only for NewTek customers.

Bill, I order and paid for your DVE and wait for half year and I still not receive it. Where is my DVEs?
Guys, make sure Bill will send the DVEs to you before you paid the money!

I checked with shipping and two separate DVE Subscriptions were sent to you. I hope this does not have something to do with the fact your producing a competing product to our SciFi FX. Completion is good and it should help the market if both your company and DiscreetFX produce DVE's. Since you have chosen to take this to a public forum we will send you a 3rd shipment and a free T-Shirt and place the tracking number in this forum for everyone to track.

Sorry Bill, but I really lost my patient after long long waiting.
When did you send them? Send me the tracking number for the last two shipment so I can track and find them.

If you send them out by US mail, I should get them in 15-21 days but it was over 35 days since you said you mail them on March 19. (And this is the fourth time you said you mailed them since half year ago.)

I have give you my FedEx account. I also told you I can paid for the shipment and ask you send me the tracking number after shupment. I can get them in 3-6 days if you ship them with FedEx.

I will let eveyone know I get them or not.

Bill, hope you keep your words this time. In pass six months I got too much excuses from you. Last time you said you ship it, but after I ask for the tracking info you did not answer it but complaining you got almost zero sale last year. We all doing business in video area. Good credit and customer service is most important things. Especially when customer did not get the product they ordered.

Ted, Thank you for the info. I do want to believe Bill. That's why I keep waiting and wainting. If you paid the subscription for half year, receive nothing, and Bill jsut give you some reasons such as he was sick, his sales person forgot to ship the order... You will be upset like me.

I am still looking forward a happy ending in this event.

Chen I am right in the middle of shooting a movie and have been for the last year www.oilchangemovie.com so I have no idea what happened to your last shipment. I don't do DiscreetFX's shipping so I don't know if it got caught up in customs, the dog ate it or aliens stole it I have no idea. But based on tracking number 8587 4813 3624 a replacement was given to Fed EX @ 4:05 PM today. I hope you like the free T-Shirt but if you need anything else or I can be of assistance please let me know. I would love to see this resolved for you.

But where is the shipment?

I can not get my order handled until I saw your ads on fourm about NAB2007 special and I decided to go public.
I am so mad that why I am not get my order?
In Taiwan, if I got such a bad treatment like this, your company will need to pay me a double payment for such a delay and bad contract handling.

Chen I'm not sure what else your looking for. Today was a bad day for me, after a late business meeting in Chicago I found my car window smashed/broken into and my laptop was stolen along with my iPod, 60GB USB HD, Sony PSP and I hope nothing else. I was not feeling well but could not cancel the meeting and left my stuff in the car like a dummy. So please excuse me if I'm frank. I am not going to have this exchange on a public forum with you, it's not professional. Your lucky you even reached me here, I'm very busy.

My gut feeling is this has to do with the fact that you have a digital video effect product the directly competes with ours and your trying to discredit DiscreetFX somehow. As for the e-mail exchanges you posted publicly, I have several employees and family members that help out with DiscreetFX that have all my logins and can access my e-mail or any member of DiscreetFX's e-mail. Why? I'm just too busy to do all everything and anything. I think the last time I shipped something for DiscreetFX was over three years ago. Do you expect the CEO of NewTek to personally ship your products to you? Please let me explain to you my role at DiscreetFX so you can understand. I am the architect of the films, characters and products of DiscreetFX. I name and design the layout of what a product/character will do and be, then I pay professional animators/artists to create the effects and others are paid to take orders, confirm sales and ship any and all product. I'm not even the person to talk to if an effect has a problem or does not work. The animators would need to know about so it could be fixed.

I do want to help you though, any problems with your order should have been sent to support@discreetfx.com. We did have an employee named Barry that had some problems and he is no longer with the company. It looks like someone told you that from DiscreetFX. I want to help you, if your looking for a refund or something else please let me know. It is unheard of in the software industry to refund money on software already sent to a customer but I will do that for you. I will not stand for your continued exchange to discredit DiscreetFX on a public forum though. This will be the last communication with me, please do not order from DiscreetFX again and good luck with your competing DVE effects product. Direct refund requests or any other issues to support@discreetfx.com

Also please post a URL to your DVE product so customers can find out about it and order it right from this forum. Why not get right to the point you need to make? That your company is better than DiscreetFX. Problems like this just make us work harder to please customers. Why would you order products from us anyway? You make and sell your own DVE's!

Since you are CEO of DiscreetFX, you can not blame others when your company screw up their jobs. Don't compare with Tim Jenson. If anyone screw their job in NewTek, Tim will be the first person standing there handling the problem with customer. That's what CEO do, managing and planning. Busy is an excuse for anything that went bad.

Chen I'm not sure what else your looking for.
Are you thing that it is my fault? You sound like you are blaming me about what were happened. It was mistake your company made, not me!
At least, you owe me apology.
I am glade you finally handle the shipment yourself and the correct the mistakes your company made.

I don't know why you have that thought? My company name as AnimLab dosen't means I am doing the animlation jobs and selling DVEs. I have been act as a LightWave animator when Amiga went out of market and NewTek showed they are a LightWave company years ago. But after VT come back into market, I put my full power in VT market. I even support user worldwide without any charge. I wrote VTR plugin free for VT[2] users. I wrote some more free pluging for VT[3/4] and AuraVT for local users here.
Yes, I do made some special DVEs for our local users for their special events but they were free services.
I never sell any of my DVEs before.

Chen it is not your fault, it is 100% our fault, my fault in fact. I have been working too many 80+ hour weeks I am afraid. I only had about 3 1/2 hours of sleep even today. I don't know why but I confused you with this company.

http://www.clickgrafix.com/products/dves.htm

Why did I do that? I don't know not enough rest maybe? Their address is in our database under Animlab. I will make this right though. This is a 2nd or third shipment we sent you, there was a problem with Barry but he is gone from DiscreetFX. I'll need to investigate this further but there is a very good chance your orders went to clickgrafix since your address and theirs are the same in our database. At any rate we want to make this right and are willing to send you three complete sets of DVE's to try and help resolve this issue. You can sell them to customers, keep them or do anything you want with them. Maybe you will flush them down the toilet since you have every right to be very angry with us. At any rate please let me know how I can help out with this and very sorry for the continued confusion on our end. Also very sorry if I was an extra pain, I need to get more rest starting with today.

It is OK, Bill. Everyone make mistakes. You make typo on my database and I also make a typo on my shipping address.

The package you sent via FedEx last week should arrive yesterday but I did not get it. I checked with FedEx (that's what tracking number for) and found there was a typo on my shipping address. My door number is 23 not 32. And I check the email I send to you and found that the typo was made by me.

The funny thing is there is no 2nd floor on #32 and an old gentleman said he did not receive anything. I don't know where the package is. The guys in FedEx is trying to trace the package back for me now.

@ Chen

I am so glad you got this order. We will send out three complete sets of DVE's at no charge because of my mistake. I hope this helps, did you like the T-Shirt?

@Harlan

Final Cut Pro customers call us almost everyday asking when our DVE's will be available for them. We are working on it.
