Anyone know how to import Pic Video codec into Speed Edit? I've dowloaded it but have no idea how to make it show up in my rendering choices in Speed Edit render window when selecting file type. I need to convert my project in order to load it into TMPGenc so that I can author it to DVD
Also, does anyone know if Speed Edit will improve the MPEG2 encoder so we can eliminate the 2 steps (ie:convert to Pic Video then encode with TMPGenc.) I tried the MPEG2 encoder provided by Speed Edit, but found the end product overly compressed and playback revealed artifacts, particulary when ever there was a crossfade in my project.
Another problem is trying to get my standalone DVD recorder to recognize the DV out when using Speed Edit for playback. I've select DV output in the preference box of Speed Edit and found only my camera can see the playback, but not the DVD recorder.
I 'm happy with Speed Edit but disappointed in how difficult it is to get the finished project onto playback media without degradation or multiple steps of conversion.
Any resolutions to these problems would be appreciated.
Thanks: Steve/AVP
