I'm always on the lookout for good books with filled reference photos or illustrations. You can often find books filled with thousands of copyright free illustrations for less than $20.
While working with HairSpray I decided to go to Border's and see if I could find any books that might have hair reference photos.
I found a book called "388 Great Hairstyles" by Margit Rudiger & Renate von Samson. It is a paperback (only $12.95) and is literally filled with hair styles.
The book is very careful to ensure that the entire hairstyle is included in the picture. It is exclusively female hairstyles. It is also an excellent reference for facial design.
It's an amazing find, it's almost like it was written to be used with HairSpray and SasQuatch!!! I bet the author never imagined someone would use the book for computer software!
