720/50P,720/50P (pulldown 2:2), 720/25P they are playing nice in P2viewer but SE does not show them as clips, only MXF icon. All record with P2 AG-HVX-200.

I'm having just the opposite problem. I'm an XDCam HD guy and I was fully expecting to have to wait until 1.5 to read mxfs. Well, everything else was working so well, so I dragged an MXF onto my hard drive and "voila", animated thumbnail and all. So I dragged it up to the timeline and it works every bit as good as an HDV. I may be doing something wrong, but I'll be sure to keep doing it.

Yea i noticed that some days ago. I have tested a number of MXF´s in diffrent format and saw that XDCam HD worked.... I tested a small clip and could not check up on the audio...

Scrubbing backwards in XDCam will give you a cool psychedelic effect if that helps ;)

It partially works, but we did not want to claim that it did.

I anyone has files that we claim to support, but don't play correctly, please send me a sample so that we can do something about it.

Thanks,

How can I send you a sample. Also I had mentioned in a thread that disappeared that 24p projects that are outputed through a VT4 causes SE to crash. Is this a bug. Thanks Bill

When you say "send to support" was it this process that didn't get the clip over?:

That is the link that Paul Lara posted for submissions.

MXF from the panasonic HVX 200 studders no matter what. Also a 480 24PA(2332) when output though the VT card causes a crash-- every time. So do 24p MXF clips. Also when choosing a progressive setting and your clip has redundent frames, 2:3 or 2:3:3:2, are they removed so that one can render a true 24P clip and make a true 24P DVD the way Vegas 7 does. HELP please. I'd like to change to SE for my 24p 480 projects and for all the flavors of my panasonic MXF clips. thanks, Bill

Yeep, thats the one and it still not working. Is it a NT-Europe vs NT-USA problem?

I have transfered XDcam HD MFX files to my Hard drive and then try to open with SE and nothing happens. SE identifies them as MFX with its icon, but I can´t open or place them into the time line. Camera is a Sony PDW-F350. What I'm doing wrong?

Well, again, XDCAM HD MXF is NOT a format that SE claims to support.

Fotolux, Are those files bigger then 2gig? Even the DVCPro .mxf files bigger then 2 gig don't show up properly....yet.

1.5 has the fix for >2GB mxf's and if you need it sooner, please contact me directly.

Thanks,
