Leaves & UVs

I have been having some real troubles making plants and before you answer I dont want to spend money of plugins as I am sure their would be some way of doing it in lightwave for which i have already paid.

Basicly I am having trouble ith the leaves. I am using Point Clone Plus to place the leaves and it works realy, realy well exept for one small problem. Unlike all the other clone and copy tools Point Clone Plus deleats the UV infomation.

Can anyone tell me how to vertex bake ( or something similar ) the UV so that it retains it UV mapping after Point Clone Plus.

If you can help me out of this little pickle it would be most appresiated.

There should be a replacement- plugin for PointClone, that leaves the UV- mapping in tact.
