Has anyone made a Shockwave Tutorial

What I am looking for is a tutorial nothing fancy that will show how to create the w3d file ( which I can do already ) but then continues on with the Macromedia Director ( I'm using version 8)

right now I am not getting it to work. I've tried with AVI, MOV, DIVX, Mpeg no luck with Director. So I need to find out what step or steps am I missing.

Do I import the w3d file and the animation file?
Does the W3d file already have the information for the
animation?
After it's made the Shockwave file how do I get it to work with
the web page. ( note I am no webpage guru..) Just want to learn this stuff. Looks really interesting ( and right now I have the time to do it..)

Anyone out there that has a good link to a tutorial geared towards Lightwave users let me know :)

U need version 8.5 (shockwave studio). Previous version don't support SWF3d.

If I have 8.5 just follow the tuts from Macromedia and you'll know how to make it.

Well there ya go see. My information was wrong I was under the impression that it would work with Macromedia Director 8. Ok now I know..
