I had bought recently used wacom tablet form one of the concept artists form our work. I started using it for painting textures and z-brush sculpting.

This monday instead of doing my regular 3d stuff I started sketching. Last time I was sketching back in highschool, so it isn't anything special, but it gave me a lot of satisfaction.
Those are the concepts for postapocalyptic neuroshima world.

I almost forgot how much fun it is and that you can see your work way much faster than making stuff in 3d. Also it is helpfull to make the right composition quickly. I will be making more sketches for sure. Just now it is taking me a lot of time - I get really rusty :D

Here is my first sketch form monday.
The pilgrim on his way through the city.

The last one from Wednesday.

HermitCrab like robot that is using old wrack of submarine as a shell.
I will make another version of it with more wrecks on the desert so that will make more sense :) Also planing to make the hunter making a trap for it, not just ride on the horse and shooting from his rifle at it.

Thanks guys :)

Those are sketches for my further 3d works, so you should be able to see them with proper lighting, texturing etc. I know that they are totaly off but those sketches should help me with the concept and composition, before I start modeling. :)

bluerider : I knew that you will like the horse :D The base character was without horse, guess who's work inspired me to give him horse :)
Your work is great :beerchug:

Mancubus,
Good to hear about the horse inspiration and thanks for the feed back on that. I personally think thats the main purpose of an online community such as this, to encourage and inspire each to greater things. :)
